Founded in 2000, the non-profit helps the families of child patients at Meyer Children’s Hospital in Florence. It provides hospitality to the nuclear families of long-term-care patients, and finances scientific medical projects and research grants. The main goal of the foundation’s fundraising is to build housing, in which 24 accommodations are available to families. Fundraising includes the sale of gadgets, wedding favours, and other general products.
The foundation does all it can for pediatric oncologists and lab technicians, contributing to the purchase of important hospital equipment for pediatric tumor therapy. S! has decided to actively contribute to this noble project.
Sport is synonymous with socialization, integration, friendship and humanity: all of the values that characterize both S!’s and the Tommasino Bacciotti Foundation’s work day in and day out.
The diverse activities range from organizing fundraising events to online charity auctions, collection campaigns and help from spokespeople. All in the name of generosity, and sports.
